It's Fall Ya'll!

Here's a picture that I took this weekend of Lucky and Taco, in their rooster hats...and their not thrilled about it either :0) Their so much fun! Especially now that Taco's 98% potty trained...

We left Sabastopol four weeks ago with about 130 people in bible study. We've been in Jackson, MS with the Craft's ever since (www.fpcjackson.com), and having a great time! Saturday we had our first corporate effort in getting bible studies, with about 100 people in attendance. We got 146 bible studies!! The previous Thurday a small group went out and did surveys and had 28 people say they were interested in a home bible study...making a total of 174!! Today the "real" work has begun :0) scheduling the bible studies and then teaching them. However, I can't think of too many things more rewarding then helping someone find Jesus! Pray for the laborers.

I'm thrilled about cooler weather approaching. Autumn is one of my favorite seasons! Last year I completely missed Autumn, being in Arizona (Phoenix mainly) from August until December. Bring on the cider, pumpkin butter, mums, pumpkins, baking, leaves changing...it's all good!

Much happenin'

Much has happened since my last post (embarrassingly three months ago).  For starters, I turned another year older and had a wonderful celebration with family, my brother and sister and their families (pictured here).

Also, we acquired another puppy who we named "Taco" (Chihuahua), a birthday gift.  I'm in puppy training mode right now...not wanting any more puppies for a while, maybe never! (lol)   But Taco is precious and Lucky is starting to feel the same :0)

Three weeks ago we went to the Alabama Revival Conference where we experienced life changing preaching!  I'm thankful we didn't miss it!
We also got to visit with wonderful friends and family, whom we hadn't seen in six months...good times!

Two weeks ago we started revival in Sebastopol, MS with the Copeland's (www.pinegrovepentecostalchurch.com)  So far several have received the Holy Ghost and been baptized.  Saturday we went out for our first "Fishing" venture (for men that is) and got 142 bible studies!  By the end of this week thirty-three of those will have already been taught the first lesson!

We're excited about the future and what God holds for it!!

Has it really been two whole months since I lasted posted?!  For shame..

God has done and is still doing mighty things these last nine weeks!
In review: We ended up being with the Gurley's in Pearland, Texas, ten weeks (www.firstchurch.com).  The church got close to two hundred bible studies during that time!  People are hungry for God ~
We had great revival services and several prayed through!

We've been in Porter, TX (thirty miles or so north of Houston) with the Green's three weeks (www.porterapc.com).  Week before last a small group went out on a Thursday evening and got thirty-three bible studies!  Today was our first corporate effort in "Fishing for men" and sixty-six bible studies were gotten!  The harvest truly is great...

We've had some dynamic services so far and several have received the Holy Ghost!!
I'm looking forward to what more God has in store!

Good times..

Just passed our fourth week of revival in Pearland, TX we're having a great time  and God is continuing to bless.  We're scheduled for another "fishing expedition" (fishing for souls) this coming Friday and I'm looking forward to it! Thanking God for His favor in this city.

We've also been having a good time getting to spend time with family.  For the first time in years I got to be with my sister on her birthday...we had a birthday party at Jason's Deli (wait, does three people count as a "party"?  lol)

Our fifth-wheel is parked at an RV park that has a small lake so Uncle Shane, along with my brother Brian took the nephews fishing (literally for fish this time).  Although the "fishing trip" only lasted about about an hour - since a three year old, four year old and six year old don't have the attention span for longer than that - a good time was had by all...except for that short stint when Greyson (the four year old) got bit by a fire ant (drama at it's finest)..  good times

We've been in Pearland almost two weeks now. With about a hundred people, Friday night we went out and got 109 bible studies! Soul-winning is fun! Today the "schedulers" started setting up the appointments for the bible studies to be taught this week...and in fact some were taught today!
Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

Pictured here is the State Capitol of Texas (Austin) - Pflugerville is a suburb of Austin

We're continuing to have revival in Pflugerville.
It's exciting to be a part of what God is doing in this city!
Saturday we went out in the community for evangelistic outreach.  In just forty-five minutes we had sixteen people say they would be interested in being taught a home bible study.  Several of those are already being taught this week.
So far, we've had a total of three receive the Holy Ghost!
We give God all the praise!
